South East Kelowna Houses For Sale
South East Kelowna is a large region south of Mission Creek that provides residents with a rural feel while remaining a short drive from shopping centres and beaches. Filled with orchards and small neighbourhoods, South East Kelowna provides a diverse selection of high-end housing options to fit the budget for those wanting to call South East Kelowna home. With only three bridges over the creek from the east and west, the area is quietly tucked away from the city noise with no major roads cutting through the area. From entry-level homes to multimillion dollar estates, Kelowna’s southeast offers large open properties or dense neighbourhoods with a wide variety of homes built from the 1970s to today.
The many orchards in the area grow many of the Okanagan’s quality apples, cherries, pears, peaches, and grapes with still plenty of room for wineries, homes, and golf courses, as well as hiking trails near Gallagher’s Canyon. South East Kelowna is also not far from all shopping needs and beach activities in the summer along KLO Road into the Lower Mission.

Many of the fruit orchards also contribute to the region’s many wineries, including The View Winery & Vineyard, SpearHead Winery, and Meadow Vista Honey Wines that have all won national and international wine awards due to the high-quality grapes grown in the Okanagan valley.
Hikers will enjoy the Scenic Canyon Region Park with hiking trails, a riparian zone, and geological formations that provide viewpoints towards Layer Cake Mountain, Pinnacle Rock, canyon walls, and rock Hoodoos. Residents can also enjoy competitive fun at the softball fields across from the East Kelowna Community Hall.
